1. What inspired or motivated you to join the Rise program?
I was motivated to join the Rise program after following Ashley for a while on Instagram. I’m a twin mama, wife, and teacher. I had been working out for a long time but had been stagnant. Also, I plan so much for my family & my job I needed my gym time planned by someone else.
2. What do you love most about the Rise program(this could be anything from the workout app, the scheduled workouts, not having to stress over what workouts to do, the community, the challenges, etc..)
My favorite thing is that the workouts are planned for me and ready to go! I love a plan and this app and plan are very user-friendly. There is nothing to think about – just start the workout and go! Also, I don’t get bored because every 4 weeks, the workouts change.
The Facebook group is a nice place to ask questions & get encouragement. I also love a challenge and enjoy the monthly challenges.
3. What changes have you noticed since joining the Rise Program(this could be anything from more strength, feeling stronger, more confidence, leaner, weight loss, inches lost, healthier, etc…)?
I am definitely stronger and have seen more definition in my body. My husband has noticed also! 😉 I have always been comfortable in the gym, but I have more confidence when I am there. I prefer working out at a gym, but the workout could be completed at home as well.
4. What is one piece of advice you would give to someone who is just getting started?
Do something for yourself!! It is so hard for women to take time for themselves. I am a better momma and wife when I work out. I sleep better, am happier, have less stress, and look better. You don’t have to be at a certain level. The workout can be tailored for beginners or advanced gym-goers.
