What made you decide to start my 1:1 coaching program?
A good friend had introduced me to Ashley’s brand. I am a physician and scrutinize closely whom I am going to pay to teach me health and nutrition, as I have had some people who know less than me that I am paying, and it is frustrating. After observing Ashley for a while, I knew she was the real deal, using an evidence-based approach.
At this point, my youngest child was almost 4 years old and in those 4 years, I had gained and lost the same 15lbs and could not find a balance that was sustainable.
I was so overwhelmed before I met Ashley, in everything: work, home-life, feeding my family, or just seeing my family before they went to bed. Exercising and nutrition seemed like something I didn’t have time for and would be a ‘later’ problem. But I knew if I didn’t make it a priority, no one would. Another 4 years would pass by and I would have made no progress.
Now, exercising and nutrition feel like personal breaks and successes that I celebrate along the way, my family sometimes joins in workouts or planning meals too! They love baking Ashley’s pumpkin muffins!
I am still working more than 60 hours a week, switching from days to nights on a weekly basis, and working with Ashley has made making my health a priority a reachable goal. Being healthier is making the other stressors in my life easier too!
I am now proud of myself not only for being a mom, wife, doctor, and friend, but I am proud of myself for being my own friend too and taking care of me!
What is one specific feature you like most about my 1:1 coaching program?
Individualized support, daily communication, and relationship with my coach!
I love not having to plan for myself, my workouts are scheduled, we talk about good food options and goals, and I just have to do it, no extra thinking. And as a full-time, active duty OBGYN, mom and wife, I can barely remember my name, this is key to my success.
What are some of the successes you’ve had since you started working with me?
I have lost 20lbs, a lot of inches, 2 dress sizes, I am happier, have more energy, and have even seen my family change their relationship with food in small ways, my kids know good sources of protein and that should go on their plate first, then the vegetables and then anything else!
I have also gained a ton of strength. I was easily able to max out my physical fitness test in the military this cycle without specifically training for it, just following Ashley’s workout plan for me!
Would you recommend this program to someone else?
Absolutely, 100%! And I do, all the time! When friends ask me how I am losing weight, or see me perform well on a run or during an exercise, they will ask what my training plan is and I happily tell them about Ashley and Metabolic Fix.
